**Q: Is this vegan friendly ?**
A: It doesn't state that it is but I can't see any ingredients that would say it isn't. I'm a vegan and use this sauce (main thing - it doesn't contain shrimp and most other brands do)

**Q: How long does this keep in the fridge for once opened?**
A: Fridge? Always keep ours in the cupboard and it's fresh as a daisy for as long as it lasts, yeah, months. Same as most sauces.

**Q: Is this suitable for vegetarian or vegans?**
A: Sambal oelek is a spicy Southeast Asian chile sauce made from hot red chile peppers, salt and sometimes vinegar. Some versions can also contain onion, lemon or lime juice, garlic, or sugar. A: The bottle doesn't say. Contents chilli, water, salt and pepper. It is a good consistency and a Dutch  sambal I have been using for years.
