Also holes don't line up perfectly. *by D***O on 28 February 2012* This is an excellent marking tool for accurate measurement up to 6". The description, however is wrong. There are slots every 16th of an inch, and holes every 32nd as shown in the picture. There is NOTHING marking the 64ths! This is not a problem for me, it would be pretty tough to use a pencil, even .05mm to mark finer than 32nds but I just wanted to correct the description. Also, the holes on either side are slightly out of line making me uneasy about the absolute accuracy when measuring from the very end. I may resort to "burning" the first inch like on a tape measure when wanting an absolute measurement. Nice tool overall.
