While our clays and glazes are non-toxic and carry the AP seal from The Art and Creative Materials Institute, they have not been tested for use with food for direct or indirect contact and cannot be recommended for that use." I hope this is useful. **Q: Do you need to bake this after putting on polymer clay already baked items?** A: The Sculpey Satin Glaze can just be painted on like a varnish and doesn't need to be baked again. Hope that helps! **Q: Can this glazed be used as a final finish for school. Buff clay which has been fired I.e.satin finish** A: Hi Brenda.I have used this product on many mediums, including fired Buff clay.It covered very well, and the satin finish is lovely.I hope this helps.Regards,Karen. **Q: Has anyone used this to mix with metallic powder for highlighting air dried clay?** A: I have used this mixed with metallic powders on oven baked clay after cooking and it worked fine so I would say it would be ok on air drying clay too 😀 ## Frequently Bought Together - Sculpey® Satin Glaze, Non Toxic, 1 fl oz. bottle with precise flow twist cap.
