This is a nice bit of kit that I would expect to be about 50% more expensive if I had seen it in a mates house. Yeah sure, the instructions are a bit basic, but for anyone who has done flat pack before they are pretty much par for the course and it is pretty hard to go wrong once you notice bevel to the fore and flat to the back, until you come to putting the back panels on, no helpful wee guide as to where the pins go, so a bit hit or miss, ehm, literally... Took me about 50 minutes to build, and I can't use power tools, so all hand screwing. I also did have a nice big hole in the center back board, big enough to twist a plug through, so it might be worth putting a note in for the seller to try and ensure you get one, based on an earlier reviewer not having it. However, I`m pleased to say that it actually looks as nice as I`d hoped it would. I`ll definitely be doing something with the finish though - possibly varnish/beeswax or similar. Look out for the door latches. i spent a good half hour messing about with the hinges as the door kept popping open...then noticed them in my dish of screws. They weren`t included in the assembly instructions. Once I`d sorted that out I`d hung the other door in 5 minutes.
