It's a dye that dries hair. And I ate my head after I painted. It's not good. **Q: Does this item contain ammonia ,peroxide** A: It does not contain ammonia. This time I mixed the 6N and 7N shades, and the colour turned out beautifully natural, not too dark and not too light, just the perfect balance.It covered my greys really well, especially around the sides, without looking flat or too harsh. The formula is gentle on the hair and scalp, which is very important to me, and it left my hair feeling soft, shiny and healthy after colouring.I also love that it doesn’t have that strong chemical smell like many other dyes. The colour lasts well and fades naturally without turning brassy.Overall, a fantastic product that I will definitely keep using. I used my own gloves which were a much better fit.You need a small mixing bowl and spoon to mix the dye and developer. The box suggests you use a brush. I didn’t have one so used my hands and a comb.I was aiming to go darker after my hair went very blonde in the summer.I am 80% grey I reckon.I used about half the product on my shoulder length bob. I set timer to 38 minutes after I’d finished applying the gel.It came out much darker than the box photo suggests. A deep brunette on me ! Thankfully I like it. It covered the grey roots without any odd differences in colour. The enclosed conditioner was okay but not nearly as good as the Av**a one I use.So all in all a decent quality product.
