**Q: Could two people sit in this? I’m looking for a shelter to sit in with an elderly person, to enjoy the outdoors ?**
A: yes its for 2 but I bought it for emergency protection when trekking in the hills to protect from a sudden deterioration in weather having got cold and wet once and having no protection from wind and rain when eating lunch and in case we ever had an accident and needed protection from the elements. you hold mine up with your bodies and a walking pole and sit on the bottom of the bothy to hold it down.

A: I’m pretty sure that it’s waterproof. I know it sounds pretty silly not knowing, but the few times I’ve used it these has been the least of my concerns. Also, the nature of being in such a confined space is that condensation forms pretty quickly, so it’s difficult to tell of it’s my own moisture, or a leak. Suffice it to say, it’s an excellent emergency shelter, that takes up next to no space, and robust enough to be treated with pretty-well no care at all.
