Jerry is a Chemical Engineer and research enthusiast who is now a ceramic expert. Alix is an artist and coffee lover who deals with anxiety and came up with the Hit Pause method. We spent months researching the right glaze, clay material, shapes, and design. During our design process, we combined the beauty of handcrafted pottery with the functionality of everyday kitchen essentials. ## Features - IT’S TIME TO HIT PAUSE AND BAKE: This is more than pie pans. Mora is Latin for "Pause", acting as a reminder to slow down in your amazing life. You are always being told to do more, to go faster, to be better, but it's time for you to slow down every once in a while and hit pause. Your Mora pans can help you do that. No matter what you're baking, every time you use a Mora pan it is a reminder to hit pause, give yourself some me time, and practice mindfulness. - OPTIMAL SHAPE AND SIZE: Our pan is designed with you in mind with the classic size for original pie recipes. With the inside measuring 9 inches wide and 2 inches deep, it will fit any standard pie recipe. Textured rims are for aesthetics and easy grip functionality, perfect for beginner and experienced bakers. - CERAMIC WITH 20% STRONGER PALADIN CLAY: Only we have Paladin Clay which is 20% stronger than the competitors, giving you stronger and more durable bakeware. Our clay has optimal heat retention to keep your food hotter longer, as well as even heat distribution for evenly baked pies. Our pans are also resistant to thermal shock, meaning they can go from freezer to oven (without preheating), and can handle over 500 degrees F. Dishwasher safe and mother approved. - CRYSTALLIZED GLAZE: Our glaze is lead free, cadmium free, and extra strong to prevent scratches from your metal utensils. Only we produce a crystallized glossy glaze that is strong enough to resist scratches under 1000 grams of pressure. Our smooth glaze allows for easy cleanup, and as always our products are microwave, oven, freezer, and dishwasher safe. - MORA’S PROMISE: We provide a free refund or replacement for any defective products, anytime. Just let us know what happened. We offer daily customer service because you are important to us. Our objective is to help you hit pause, so we won’t settle for anything you don’t love. It’s hard to tell from the photos!** A: Yes, it is a rounded shape. I find that this classic 9" pie plate does not hold my traditional pie fillings, it is too shallow. However, it is a beautiful well made, heavy dish that I often use for baked omelets for two or roasted veggies . Hope this helps... Happy Holidays... **Q: what country is this made in?** A: All of our products are designed in Minnesota and manufactured in our family-owned factory in China. ## Frequently Bought Together - Mora Ceramic Classic 9 Inch Pie Pan Set of 2 - Round Pie Plate for Baking Apple/Pumpkin Pies, Quiche, Rolls, etc. Dishwasher and Oven Safe Dishes, Shallow Pans for Original Recipes - Vanilla White - Mora Ceramic Deep Fluted Pie Dish for Baking - 9 inch Porcelain Pie Plate for Apple, Quiche, Pot Pies, Tart, etc. - Modern Farmhouse Style - Vanilla White - Mora 7x11in & Loaf Baking Dishes - Porcelain Casserole & Bakeware, Oven-to-Table, Freezer Safe - Set of 2, White --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/485358685-mora-ceramic-classic-9-inch-pie-pan-set-of-2](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/485358685-mora-ceramic-classic-9-inch-pie-pan-set-of-2) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-12*
