**Q: Do these open easily because the ones from hanger world are very hard to open**
A: I've not had a problem with the hangars opening or gripping clothes on them.  The metal hook doesn't turn though

A: Yes, the metal hanging hook does swivel.

**Q: how wide is the hanger from side to side?**
A: 15 inches and the clips open wide to take thicker material. Hope this helps?

**Q: What is the dimension of the hangers from the top of the clip to the top of the hook?**
A: I have just measured the area from the top of the clip to the top of the hook and it is in inches 3 and 3/8th inches or 8 and 1/2 cms.Hope this helps -
