A battery for $359?** A: First off this isn't your run of the mill cell phone Lithium Ion battery. Its a newer LiFePO4 battery which is much more stable and longer lasting. As a result, you don't need to worry about this thing bursting into flames like we've seen with Li-ion batteries. (Google it. You will see news stories about it all over the place.) There is also the fact that that recharge cycles it can handle is much higher than your normal Li-ion batteries. 2000+ vs 500. This is the spliced version and is "plug and play" for Thinkware F800 which I also purchased. I hardwired it using a "power outlet" output using the supplied add-a-fuse. Situating it under the drivers seat. Once everything was wired in, I ran the setup for the F800 and everything just works. Including the all the parking features of the F800. Sellers website is a great source of information, including you can find helpful YouTube videos from them.
