I like it! I prefer a mostly clean sound, and that means it stays on the quieter side of its already quiet range. The distorted sounds give a higher output. Perhaps I'll get into that one day? But so far, so quiet.The other use I'd hoped it might have is for playing MP3s through when I teach drum lessons. Unsurprisingly, perhaps, it's not really up to that, excepting perhaps for the quietest of ballads! I've only used it in battery mode so far. But it's kept going plenty, and as yet not needed a new 9V battery. Given it's got two speakers, it's a pity, in my view, that they didn't include a stereo input, so you can listen to backing tracks in stereo.In terms of look and feel, it's a lovely little thing. Cute, frankly. It appears pretty well made, as well. It's got a classic retro look. The sound is less classic, but it does what it's designed to do: amplify guitars at low levels whilst looking cool. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fender mini tweed amp *by T***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 27 March 2010* This little amp is awesome! I bought it on behalf of my son, but personally I love it. It's as if its big brother the full size Fender tweed has been shrunk by some sort of sci-fi shrink ray.It has volume, tone, drive and on and off switch, jack input, headphone output and 9v plug for a little transformer if you get tired of replacing batteries.No idea how long the 9v battery lasts as we haven't worn it out yet, but considering how small this dinky little amp is it sounds awesome!It is a beautifully built, pack it in your hand-luggage size amp. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ pros and cons of the fender mini *by M***G on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 11 October 2010* i bought this amp to save me draging my larger amps around the house. the amplifier is very well built, it has plenty of volume and the tone is quite acceptable. the main drawback is that you cannot obtain a clean sound from the unit.Even with the gain at one and the master volume turned on full, the sound is distorted. This happens even when i play my low gain pickup guitars like my telecaster.on the plus side when you crank up the gain and plug in an sg it sounds the business.
