Review: Love this mat! - We ordered this playmat after hours upon hours of research and debating back and forth, and I couldn't be happier with this product! Not only does this playmat and gym look great (which makes mommy and daddy happy), but our baby LOVES it (about three weeks and a half weeks when we got it, almost 7 weeks now). Every morning our daughter has her independent playtime on this mat, it's great because she isn't just flat on her back, but is slightly propped up, so she can look around a lot easier. She loves swatting at the cute fish and octopus and looking at herself in the clam mirror as well! You can also do a propped up tummy time on this. Would definitely recommend this mat, and would certainly buy another if they were to make other designs :) Review: Good find. - Love this play mat! My 3 month old also loves it. It's not over stimulating and it's an attractive baby toy. My son kicks his legs and loves the octopus legs and the sounds they make. I love the stages and the elevated head rest. ## Features - 9 interactive features help to progress a childs developmental skills - Encourage key senses such as sight touch and sound with the squeakers fun textures and crinkly areas - The padded wedge on the Octopus head helps to promote tummy time which can help strengthen arm neck and back muscles ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Product Dimensions | 34.65 x 25.2 x 21.26 inches | | Item model number | 759482714 | | Is Discontinued By Manufacturer | No | | Target gender | Unisex | | Batteries required | No | | Item Weight | 2.64 pounds | ## Images ![Mamas & Papas Playmat & Activity Gym (Octopus) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81dIV4IbckL.jpg) ![Mamas & Papas Playmat & Activity Gym (Octopus) - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/815A57rZInL.jpg) ![Mamas & Papas Playmat & Activity Gym (Octopus) - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/91TNPD2O0ZL.jpg) ![Mamas & Papas Playmat & Activity Gym (Octopus) - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/91XobNY35lL.jpg) ![Mamas & Papas Playmat & Activity Gym (Octopus) - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81ikiTLCnaL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love this mat! *by L***B on July 31, 2016* We ordered this playmat after hours upon hours of research and debating back and forth, and I couldn't be happier with this product! My 3 month old also loves it. It's not over stimulating and it's an attractive baby toy. My son kicks his legs and loves the octopus legs and the sounds they make. I love the stages and the elevated head rest. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fun but hard to clean *by S***E on September 14, 2016* Very cute mat and was a hit with my son until he could crawl. Love that you can detach the hanging toys. This mat is very soft but the fabric looooves pet hair. Using a lint roller barely helps since the fabric weave is such that it really holds the hair. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/4858453-mamas-and-papas-playmat-and-activity-gym-octopus](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/4858453-mamas-and-papas-playmat-and-activity-gym-octopus) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-18*
