Looked at LOTS of other options in all kinds of materials. I also tried a few other types of cutting boards. Plus, I have used lots of different cutting boards I the past. These the best cutting board option I have ever found. They are also great as a non-toxic option that isn’t getting chemicals or plastic particles into the food you are cutting. And, they don’t dull knives nearly like some other hard non-toxic options. I love that they are also flexible, stay in place when cutting, are basically no-maintenance, are easy to clean, and they are easy to store. They are a bit pricey but I would buy them again. In fact, I did already order a different color to designate for meat and onion cutting. (I don't think I actually needed to separate that because they wash well and don't have any visible cut marks or stains or odor retention. So, you could just use one mat for all cutting.) I would totally buy an XL version if they made one! 16.5”x11.5” would be a perfect extra-large size to match typical cookie sheets. That would be so helpful for cutting large items like watermelon.

Very nice cutting boards. They’re sturdy enough to stand up to heavy chopping, but also very flexible. Makes transferring veggies, nuts, etc. to the bowl or pan so easy. The red is a pretty color and they take up much less space than my old plastic cutting boards.
