Make sure that the claw is closed and try pulling it out. If the claw is open, it would indeed make it difficult to remove the tool, especially if it got stuck in the pipe bend. 2. Try and pour a lubricant solution (e.g. WD-40) onto the claw grabber to see if it will help slide the tool out easily. 3. If possible, help loosen the grip of the claw grabber by pumping a plunger into the drain opening. Just make sure the plunger covers the drain fully to ensure a good suction. 4. Grab a coat hanger and straighten it out, then create a small hook at the end. Gently insert it into the drain to try and lift the tool and pull it out. If the claw grabber can not be removed by following the recommendations above, please contact a professional plumber. They should be able to assist you in removing the tool.
