**Q: Does this spring have a dimple at one end to enable it to sit in the elongated groove of the scissors arm and so prevent spring slipping out**
A: Definitely not original part ,no dimple on the end of spring, disappointed.

**Q: Would this fit a knife from 1986?**
A: The Large Scissors size is unchanged back to before 1986 I believe.I think you will be OK but there is a smaller knife with smaller scissors - beware.

**Q: Hi, does anyone know if this will fit a Swiss army knife huntsman?**
A: What is the "huntsman" knife? These springs are cheap enough; try it!!

**Q: Will this fit a Champ from before 1995?**
A: I cannot be sure as mine was purchased around 1997. I think all the springs for the scissors from the Champ range are the same.

I bought this for a relative as he had lost the spring that was fitted to his 91 mm knife. Several years ago I had a spring break on a similar knife to his that I’ve had for decades and I remembered how inconvenient it was as it was often used. The spring is quite a firm fit and pliers were used to aid assembly. Now the knife is back to one hundred per cent and the spring is still firmly attached and works as well as the original one after several weeks of use. We are very pleased with the results.
