I will put it inside a pattress box on an internal wall, so dont want to double insulate it.** A: It does operate outside of the case but would your pattress be thermally isolated from that wall (surface as opposed to flush)? you really need the actual room temperature not the wall temperature, especially not a cavity wall! **Q: How many temp sensors can you have? Do you need the internet bridge for them?** A: I believe that if you are using the internal sensor on the display then you can only use one external sensor. And I believe that you can pair a second external sensor but it will replace the readings from the internal sensor. The bridge is only required to view the temperature and temperature history remotely. **Q: Is this compatible with the geo solo iii as well?** A: Hi Ben, the Geo Temperature sensor is not compatible with the Solo III PV at this time. **Q: What is the minimum and maximum operating temperature of the sensor? If I leave it outdoors in -5 C will it break?** A: Hi, the minimum operating temperature is -30 and maximum is 90c. These are of course not recommend temperatures. The sensor should work fine outside at this temperature, ideally we would suggest placing the sensor inside a further container to protect from adverse weather conditions.
