Review: Total waste of money! - My 5 year old daughter saw these advertised on TV and asked Santa to bring them. We have finally just opened them for the first time, having initially put it off for a bit as I thought it would get messy - how wrong I was! The pens do not work as they should. Both myself and my husband tried blowing through the pens as instructed and have ended up with headaches as no matter how hard we tried nothing came out - how a child is expected to use them I have no idea. The pens aren't dried up, as my daughter eventually just used them as ordinary felt pens to colour in the stencils. The stencils themselves are a flimsy cardboard which will tear easily, and the paper supplied is really thin and easily becomes "crinkled" with the ink from the pens. The packaging is also twice the size it needs to be - thankfully it is cardboard so is recyclable at least! Overall I am so dissapointed with this product, I have felt compelled to leave a review. If I could give it 0 stars I would!

My 5 year old daughter saw these advertised on TV and asked Santa to bring them. We have finally just opened them for the first time, having initially put it off for a bit as I thought it would get messy - how wrong I was! The pens do not work as they should. Both myself and my husband tried blowing through the pens as instructed and have ended up with headaches as no matter how hard we tried nothing came out - how a child is expected to use them I have no idea. The pens aren't dried up, as my daughter eventually just used them as ordinary felt pens to colour in the stencils. The stencils themselves are a flimsy cardboard which will tear easily, and the paper supplied is really thin and easily becomes "crinkled" with the ink from the pens. The packaging is also twice the size it needs to be - thankfully it is cardboard so is recyclable at least! Overall I am so dissapointed with this product, I have felt compelled to leave a review. If I could give it 0 stars I would!

My daughter is so disappointed. They look great on the TV but in reality the pens don’t work. I would not recommend them, complete waste of money.
