**Q: What are the dimensions?**
A: It's about 7 inches across and 4 to 5 inches deep. It holds a flan made with 6 or 7 eggs, a can of evaporated milk, a can of condensed milk, vanilla and a cup of sugar. Enough to serve 8 people.

**Q: Can you put the flanera directly on the stove to make the caramel? My mom says yes but I dont want to potentially damage it without knowing for sure!**
A: I didn't.  I put it in a pan with water and came out great!  I don't know if you can use it directly in the oven without the water.

**Q: Do you cook this iawater bath , stove top or oven?**
A: Not on the stove top all by itself; always in a water bath, either in the oven or stove top. I even put it in the pressure cooker with water, of course, half way up the side of the flanera.

**Q: Can this flanera also be used to make cheesecake?**
A: Yes

I LOVE my Flanera! I this is so much easier for me and I can fit it in my air fryer too! If you make flan, I recommend your h buy one! My flan comes out so perfect and smooth in this!!

I purchased this flan maker back in Nov 2014. It might not be stainless steel but it still look the same as when i purchased it except some scratches from scrubbing burnt caramelized sugar. I like having the lockable lid, at approx 7 inches diameter & 2-3/4 inches height it fits perfect in my double steamer. Like the other reviewer i make the caramel directly in the pan on my stove at the lowest heat. Easy to clean and easy to flip flan for serving. I bought two and i highly recommend this product from this company and seller. This review is 100% based on my personal experience and did not receive any discount or compensation from amazon or from the seller.
