**Q: is it compatible with asus prime z390-p motherboard**
A: Yes!!! Looked at your Mobo on the asus site... supports 2280 mvme (22mm x 80mm)!!! Its up to you if you wish to get thermal pads OR get it with the heat sink!!! I would think about the temps of your pc...

**Q: is this compatible with ASUS M515DA**
A: You can. Will not get the speed benefit though. Will work the same... but that model of laptop is gen3 not gen 4. Will work (backward compatible)

**Q: When will a model with heatsink be avaliable?**
A: Not on the road map. It needs a good third party hearsink. Plenty on amazon. Look for aluminum heatsink with heat pipe.

**Q: Would this work on an older x99 asus strix? I just bought a wd sn870x but it didnt work.**
A: Yes it should work but make sure your motherboard is updated to the most recent firmware update. It will be backward compatible. You will also need to go to Disk Manager in Windows and create a partition and then format it.

I got the Samsung 990 Pro 2TB SSD to upgrade my laptop, and I couldn’t be happier with the performance boost. Installation was easy, and my system recognised it immediately. If you’re upgrading from an HDD or an older SSD, you’ll notice a huge difference in speed. Boot times are almost instant, apps load much faster, and file transfers are really quick. I mainly use my laptop for gaming and work, and this SSD has made everything much smoother and more responsive. The PCIe 4.0 speeds really stand out, and Samsung’s Magician software makes it easy to monitor and optimise performance. One thing to note is that it can run a little warm, so if your laptop doesn’t have great cooling, keep an eye on temperatures. It’s also on the pricey side, but considering the speed, reliability, and storage capacity, I think it’s worth it. Overall, if you’re looking for a high-speed, high-capacity SSD upgrade, the 2TB Samsung 990 Pro is an excellent choice
