I didn't pay attention, and this light was like a 1/2 - 1" too long for the housing I had. Instead of returning it, I decided to stick the bulb into a recessed light fixture in the ceiling outside my front door. It's way too bright.. like way brighter than sun light. I need something a bit dimmer, as anyone can see any packages left at my front door.On a side note, regarding LED bulbs.
