This is an Analogue Devices chip - very reliable company. It is fairly easy to set up. You will need some basic understanding of audio and beneficial processing. There are a stereo pair in (or 2 mono), and 4 sets of outputs. The processing capability is just right. 15 band equalizer, 3 parametric EQ fully adjustable, programmable crossover, and a limiter to keep things from being overdone. I have gone to extreme lengths to upgrade the audio in my vehicles. Had I know about this device, things would have been so much easier!! The next vehicle will use this, as opposed to the pile of gear from Crutchfield - it just does not need to be complicated. There are many tutorial videos on YouTube. While this unit is made by Taramps, the magic is in the DSP chip. This chip is used in Timpano, Stetson, PRV, etc. This unit from Taramps has been so far the easiest to use - I will review the other units next. If you make the leap to try DSP - you will not regret it. DSP can correct for all kinds of issues with speakers, acoustics, etc. I am using this one for a desktop monitor system with a subwoofer.
