It fits perfectly in the small pocket of my jeans, and it also fits easily into the smaller pockets of my purses and bags. Don’t let the size fool you...it may be small, but it cuts really well. It’s also extremely lightweight, so once it’s clipped on, you barely even notice you’re carrying it. My absolute favorite thing about this knife is the color! I purchased the “Natural” color, but I would personally describe it as more of a beautiful jade green. Depending on the lighting, it could even be mistaken for a very pale sage green. 💚 The pictures honestly don’t do the color justice. It’s even prettier in person! Overall, I’m very impressed with the size, weight, appearance, and quality. The smooth transition to open and close is flawless for me. 10/10 from me! Great little EDC knife if you’re looking for something compact, lightweight, and inexpensive. Review: Looking for new EDC? Buy this knife! - Sweet little knife! This is my first Civivi so based on what I’ve heard and seen about them, I figured they were a pretty reputable brand and thought I’d give it a go for a new smaller EDC. I wanted something light and compact as my previous EDC is a rough rider and is heavy and bulky (although I do love it). This knife fit the bill and feels like a high quality knife. Came out of the box plenty sharp and in perfect condition. Really nice carrying case and cleaning cloth that came with it (probably won’t use it unless I’m traveling but a nice to have). Color is exactly like the images. Opening/closing action is solid - first open felt a bit stiff for my liking but my old EDC was plenty broken in and I think I just got used to it. After 2-3 opens this knife started moving SMOOTH. Action is loose enough to flick open every time to a locking position only using your thumb (no need to flick your wrist to help). There’s plenty of room to get your thumb under and get a solid flick - I have sausages for fingers and have no issue finding the stud quickly and flicking it open nice and smooth to take care of the tape on a cardboard box. Incredibly pleased with this knife. Light but so sturdy, no wiggle or play in the blade at all - I highly recommend this for a compact EDC. ## Features - High-performance Cutting Tool --- Designed by Ben Petersen, its excellent sharp blade and handle style effectively perform everyday tasks like opening packages, cutting rope or wires, and lots of outdoor activities from opening package to cutting an apricot. - Dual Titanium Thumb Stud Opener --- This EDC Knife has a sturdy 2.34 in Nitro V blade and Caged ceramic ball bearing pivot, it deploys smoothly and is secured in place via a liner lock, so you can cut and slice with confidence. - Ivory G10 Handle --- Brings strength, durability, grip and aesthetics to the folding knife for man with gentle texturing, which helps the Pocket Folding Knife last for a very long time. Deep-carry pocket clip and a lanyard hole for EDC. - Ideal for Everyday Carry --- The baby banter features many of the same excellent and thoughtful design cues as the original, but fits in smaller pockets, is legal in more places. If you like the idea of a small pocket knife that packs a big punch, don't shy away from the Baby Banter! ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0BF998SYJ | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Best Sellers Rank | #35,846 in Tools & Home Improvement ( See Top 100 in Tools & Home Improvement ) #95 in Pocket Knives & Folding Knives | | Blade Edge | Plain | | Blade Length | 2.34 inches | | Blade Material | Nitro-V | | Blade Shape | Flat | | Blade Type | Drop Point | | Brand Name | CIVIVI | | Color | Red G10 | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 4.6 out of 5 stars (1,080) | | Hand Orientation | Ambidextrous | | Handle Material | Ivory G-10 | | Included Components | Pocket Clip, Lanyard Hole | | Item Length | 5.46 inches | | Item Shape | Folding | | Item Weight | 4.05 ounces | | Manufacturer | WeKnife | | Model Name | Baby Banter | | Model Number | C19068S-7 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Power Source | Manual Winding | | Product Care Instructions | Hand Wash Only | | Recommended Uses For Product | Camping | | Reusability | Reusable | | Size | 2.3" | | Special Features | Lightweight | | Style | manual | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Age Range (Description):** Adult - **Blade Material:** Nitro-V - **Brand:** CIVIVI - **Color:** Red G10 - **Handle Material:** Ivory G-10 - **Included Components:** Pocket Clip, Lanyard Hole - **Model Name:** Baby Banter - **Recommended Uses For Product:** Camping - **Special Feature:** Lightweight - **Style:** manual ## Images ![Baby Banter Small EDC Pocket Knife, 2.34" Nitro-V Blade G10 Handle - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/617ysBSZO0L.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Does this listing also come with the zippered case like the G10 models?** A: Mine did **Q: How to sharpen? Full transparency here. Most of the knives in my collection are Benchmades, but CIVIVI hits it out of the ballpark with many of their budget friendlier knives. The Baby Banter by Ben Peterson is no exception. I truly enjoy the micarta scales and the green color. The action is smooth and makes for a great fidget knife. The blade is extremely sharp and perfectly centered. I also bought a second one (the white G10 scales with red blade) and that was also perfect. The smaller size makes them a no brainer for EDC and easier to carry in my bra. Yes, I have bra knives. I may even purchase another because the purple aluminum scales with the black blade is looking sexier by the minute.
