But it is on all 3 of the swaddles. Is that supposed to be there and what is the purpose?** A: Yes, the swaddles are meant to have the slit in the back. The slit in the back is there so you can use the swaddle with bouncers and swings. We do not recommend using a swaddle with an infant car seat. **Q: Does the velcro still function well after washing?** A: Yes, it is super strong. I recommend folding the Velcro pieces in so it doesn’t stick to other things in the wash **Q: Where are these made?** A: They are made in China **Q: There is a hole/slit in all of these where the butt would be. Is this a defect/damaged clothing?** A: No, the swaddles are not defective.
