**Q: What is included in the delivery?**
A: In addition to the motion sensor, 2x wall plugs, 2x matching screws and sensor cover plates for adjusting the detection area are supplied.

**Q: The sensor switches on for no recognisable reason. What could be the reason for this?**
A: Gusts of wind can cause short-term temperature fluctuations, which can lead to incorrect switching. Other triggers can also be exhaust air openings in the house wall or animals in the detection area.

**Q: Why does the motion detector not achieve the specified maximum range?**
A: For technical reasons, PIR sensors react best in a tangential direction of movement (parallel to the sensor). If the direction of movement is radial (towards the sensor), the detection range is reduced.

**Q: Is the sensor waterproof?**
A: The motion sensor is protected against splash water (IP54) and can therefore be installed outdoors without any problems.

**Q: How high can I mount the motion detector?**
A: The mounting height can be between 1.8 and 3 metres. A height of 2 m would be ideal for the sensor. If mounted higher, the maximum possible detection range is reduced.
