Review: Brilliant little product handy for ageing parents or vulnerable adults/children - Superb little item perfect for a vulnerable adult or children, I used this for my parents who have dementia and like to keep switching everything off at night including the fridge and chest freezer! Not any more! What is great is that these covers unlike others are small and subtle looking. For my Mum any change is huge and so this is very subtle meaning she doesn’t really notice it and thinks it’s a ‘protector’ when she does her rounds feeling the switches, I also had a recent incident when a carer called to say the main light switch had literally fallen off which to my horror left a hole which was exposed and live, I keep a couple of these in what I call my ‘save a parent bag’ in my handbag so was able to pop one straight in to avoid any danger to mum, instantly making it safe in the meantime before I could get a tradesperson out to look at it, she was focussing on it naturally as was a big deal for her but as soon as the cover was put on she stopped fretting. Also a lovely service with a nice hand written thank you note included. Nice to support a local business. I’ve been meaning to write a review for a while but not had the time. Simply ensure the surface is clean and free of grease, peel off the paper on the product to expose sticky surface, then apply to surface. Would recommend checking the product is a good fit before exposing the sticky surface. Some plugs with transformers may be too wide to fit the protecter on top, but an adapter to lift it clear can solve the problem. These would both fit a switch up to 31.5mm long x 17mm wide with a depth (i.e sticking out proud from the socket surface) of up to 10mm. The model 3 has one side wall removed to allow occasional switching on and off and the bridge has both side walls removed so can be used for central switches on a gang of 3 switches and also for wider switches creating a deterrant bridge to accidental switch off. **Q: We need a solution to our one year old turning off our wifi booster box at the wall.
