They stand up well too, a good weight to them. 7x5 photo looks good in the 8x6 frame. An 8x6 photo is a touch too big (1mm or so) and would have the magnets on top of it. Recommend!

A: No it wouldn't. The frames come in various sizes but there isn't one to accommodate an A4 image. The ones I bought are only 18 x 13 cms. but I love them!
