They keep the food warm when baby is ... *by V***H on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 11 January 2015* We used to have these bowls when my sons were little as they are just perfect .They keep the food warm when baby is being weaned and eats slowly. For my first son I put dinner in one side and pudding in the other side and for my twins i had ones meal one side and the other twin dinner the other side and two spoons. I had a second one for their puddings.When my grand daughter was being weaned I looked everywhere for one of these dishes but couldn't find one anywhere so I tried Amazon and found these. Just what I wanted and when she was fed from it she began to enjoy her first solid meals so much more as they were being kept warm. I actually purchased two of these so I can use one when she comes here to visit.I would definitely recommend one of these wonderful dishes. She is now 15 months old and in practice I just use that set of cheapo colourful bowls you get for £1 at IKEA to feed her - quick to wash, easy to move from savoury to sweet and a lot quicker than faffing around filling and emptying the Lansinoh product. The non-slip aspect was appealing, but that doesn't help much when your baby immediately tips it over instead - bang, splat... Zen practice...
