Would recommend. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Surprisingly Great! *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 16 June 2025* I didn't have very high expectations of this item given the price, but it was far better than I thought it would be!It's a decent sized CD player, but given that it's mostly vertical, doesn't take up too much shelf space. Incredibly easy to use, simply plug in with a USB-C cable (included, alongside a plug too), flick the power switch and it's ready to go. The device has a solid CD clamp, keeping your disc firmly in place, and it was even able to read a CD my other player could not. Controls are available on the top of the unit, or on the accompanying remote, with the latter requiring Triple A batteries. The CD player itself also has rubberized feet to prevent slippage, and feels like a solid unit with a nice bit of weight to it. It certainly does not feel light or cheap.In terms of actually using the player, it's nice and easy, everything is quite self-explanatory. The only downside is that, due to the bottom-closing CD cover, it can be a bit fiddly to get your CD out, though depressing the central clamp makes it easier. On the upside, you actually get to see the art on the disc, which is a nice touch.Speaker quality itself is good, not mindblowing, but better than expected for the price. It lacks a little punch on the low end, but clarity in the mids and highs is great, and it performs well on heavier music. Even things like Raw Black Metal, which typically always sounds terrible (by design), keeps its poor audio quality intact but isn't made worse by the speaker, which is very nice.My only complaint, and it is a small complaint at that, is the color choice. I would have preferred to get this item in black, but as it is, white is good enough and looks undeniably clean.Overall, a purchase I certainly don't regret, and one that has far exceeded my expectations. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Brilliant sound, compact player, easy to transport and set up. *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 9 April 2024* Very pleased with this player. Excellent value for money and the sound is very good. Like the fact it can be moved easily from room to room and stands as it does. Headphones socket and USB on the side and easily accessible. Fairly long main lead to plug socket. Reason for 4 stars; I understand wanting to decrease packaging but to have no outer package to the box, which just had the postage label stuck to it, could easily lead to damage and the box opening.
