It takes 1 min. to get out and get it in onto the windshield. And maybe 1-2 min. to put away. I will get alot of use out of it in the summertime. It folds up super easy. It is easy to store because I folds up nicely. I had no trouble at all getting it folded back up. I made a home made windshield cover for the winter time that are heavier so I will love this for the summer. It is black on one side and silverish on the other (not white).
