We initially chose OXO as they make some good quality items and these salad spinners are up there at the top. They're very well designed, with a sturdy basket and a useful bowl.Being able to lock the push mechanism in the down position makes it easier to store, and it comes apart easily to clean.The push down to spin is a great idea, especially if you have trouble with gripping a handle on a normal salad spinner.All in all, this is a great salad spinner.
