Also the winding handle is quite fragile and will eventually snap if used to reel in the hose. **Q: how do you reel the hose back in? I can't see a handle** A: HelloYes, there is a handle.Mum, Dad and Baby **Q: Do you need two hose pipes? One in and one out?** A: EXAMPLE FOR YOU LETS SAY YOU HAD A 25 METRE LONG HOSE ( YOU CUT OFF ONE METRE HOSE LONG SO YOU FIX THAT ONE TO THE HOSE REEL TO YOUR OUTDOOR TAP ) THE OTHER HOSE NOW HAS 24 METRES OF HOSE AND CONNECT TO THE REEL AND WHERE THE OTHER END OF THE ONE METRE AND JUST USE IT AS NORMAL USE SO YOU ONLY HAVE RUN OUT AND RUN IN THE HOSE INTO AFTER USING THE HOSE . **Q: The handle doesn’t fit at all per instructions - anyone have similar problems?** A: I have two of these reels and in both cases, I placed the part of the handle which fits into the main part in a mug of nearly boiled water for a couple of minutes to make the plastic more flexible. Both then fitted in easily. (Obviously, the normal care should be taken when using very hot water - to be carried out by a responsible adult only!) ## Frequently Bought Together - Silverline Hose Reel 45m Capacity (547900), Green - Silverline 353266 Hose Connection Set 1/2" Female , Green - Hose Connector Garden Hose Fitting Set.1Nozzle,5 Hose End Quick Connector,1Hose Waterstop Accessory,2 Double Male Snap Connector,2 HosePipe Tap Fitting 1/2 Inch and3/4 Inch Size 2-in-1etc --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/49332032-silverline-hose-reel-45m-capacity-547900-green](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/49332032-silverline-hose-reel-45m-capacity-547900-green) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-04*
