Review: Works perfectly - I bought one manual and one auto. I sprayed the auto with a plant sprayer and it did not turn on but as soon as I dunked it in water it came on. You must lubricate the seal as per manufacturer instruction with a silicone based lubricant. I also put a drop of silicone oil on the screw just in case. The screw itself is a bit delicate so Handle With Care when screwing on the base and it will last a long time. I see someone made a negative review but you cannot tell if this person followed the proper instructions which is possibly why it leaked if they did not put lubricant on the O-ring seal. In the automatic setting you can reset it by simply turning it on and off and maybe drying it the bit first. I think this is good for a locator signal light for short distances. In any case it's a great product and I'm a happy camper

I bought one manual and one auto. I sprayed the auto with a plant sprayer and it did not turn on but as soon as I dunked it in water it came on. You must lubricate the seal as per manufacturer instruction with a silicone based lubricant. I also put a drop of silicone oil on the screw just in case. The screw itself is a bit delicate so Handle With Care when screwing on the base and it will last a long time. I see someone made a negative review but you cannot tell if this person followed the proper instructions which is possibly why it leaked if they did not put lubricant on the O-ring seal. In the automatic setting you can reset it by simply turning it on and off and maybe drying it the bit first. I think this is good for a locator signal light for short distances. In any case it's a great product and I'm a happy camper
