It's a compilation of things I saw in previous reviews and my own error...... Yes, it STINKS but its reminiscent of a Turkish mud bath (if you know, you know). Do NOT use if you have shaved recently. It says on the can but I must've been too eager on a few spots and BOY do they sting! 1. Use a cup or bowl that you don't particular care about to mix it in because said stink will linger 2. Open a window or put on an extractor fan. The smell didn't bother me that much as you will see later.. 3. Mix the powder with water and stir with a WOODEN spoon or spatula. Metal will make it go janky. 4. REMOVE your jewelry, it will corrode it. 5. Apply paste to area with spoon or spatula (no hands!!) and chill out for 5mins.
