Flexi Plastic has excellent sanding properties even after leaving overnight. Flexi Plastic is a two-component putty characterised by its high elasticity and gripping ability to a wide range of surfaces. Due to its flexible properties, Flexi Plastic can also be used as a general purpose filler on ABS, PVR, PVC, GRP, Aluminium, and Wood. As the filler is corrosion-resistant it makes a perfect exterior filler on areas requiring a paint finish e.g. window frames etc. Step 1 Ensure surface to be filled is free from grease and loose dirt. Brush off surface dust with damp cloth and leave to dry. Step 2 Mix the filler with hardener in the ratio supplied, (e.g. half tin of filler - half a tube of hardener) thoroughly to obtain a uniform colour. Step 3 Apply mixture immediately with firm pressure using spreader and build up to required level. Paste will start to harden within 5 minutes. Note: Hardening times will vary. If I tap it out level will this be any use to cover the rust and any gaps?** A: If you go to the trouble of "Tap it out level" you should also want to remove or deal with the rust, before you try to level the contours of the door skin with a filer. Whilst I assume your car's door is not plastic but metal, I would expect you could use this filer but it should be noted it's prepared for filling / bonding to plastic items, therefore it should be recommended that you use a filer designed for use with metal! Can’t hurt to give it a try. **Q: I have some deep gouges/scratches to fill on a dk grey bumper which I intended to treat afterwards with the forever black product..will that work ??** A: i used this product to fill a large dent in my back bumper, it seems the previous owner to my van had reversed into a post.it filled the gap very well and after hardening it was very easy to rub down with sandpaper.i then used black bumper paint spray and gave it 3 coats and it came up really well.if you have a dark grey bumper you might like to purchase a bumper paint spray the same colour.hope this helps. **Q: Will it be OK to fill dip in caravan roof, where water collects** A: Id be guessing,but I think it probably would.
