The newly released BAKER Cruise Drive Smooth Shift Kit replaces the stock shift system in any Harley-Davidson Six-Speed Cruise Drive Transmission to provide noticeably smoother, quieter shifts and assist in finding neutral. There is no need to disassemble the stock gear set from the bearing door when installing the kit. Simply remove the gear set and replace the stock shift drum and ratchet pawl with those included in the BAKER Cruise Drive Smooth Shift Kit. Machined splines on the pawl to transmission lever reduce the chance of stripping, while the precision TIG welded shaft to ratchet pawl body and improved mechanical press fit design increase long term durability.
