Not for the younger kids though. Our little boy is 6 and loves it. They have to understand the importance of being careful and responsible, not to pick it up by the head or tail as it could easily be broken.In its auto mode it does everything as described and is fun to watch patrolling the room area. In remote mode it is controllable, but this is where the younger kids would be frustrated as it needs lots of delicate movements with the remote to control it.It's a well constructed piece of equipment, lots of details and the sound is amazing. Be careful with the younger ones as its bottom jaw is very fragile and if they put their fingers in its mouth the jaw could easily be snapped off. Older kids can understand.You get a good constant running of around 30 mins from a charge and takes less than an hour to charge up again.Well thought, well designed and constructed. My kid is fascinated by dinosaurs, collects all sorts of items, but this addition tops all of them.It moves very life-like, gives a lot of feedback. It does tip over quite easily, especially in angry mode, you learn how to trigger reactions.I am very pleased with it overall, the details are amazing, it's one of the very few toys that I also enjoy playing with, which says a lot. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great piece of technology, but not sure of about a Toy *by A***! on 29 July 2016* I got this from Amazon for great price. The toy is itself is a remarkable piece of technology, however I can see why some children may get bored of this relatively quickly. The remote part is incredibly sensitive so its difficult to control, hence your left with a crazy dino on the loose. I can also see how the novelty eventually ware off, however on the positive side my 5 year old son uses this to keep his 2 year old cousin out of his room.
