I washed the hair before my first install and it was very clean! The shape holds up after a wash. Now this is synthetic hair so it will tangle, what helped me was to put in my hair in three big twists at night and put on my bonnet before I went to bed. Spray with a mixture of water and a silicone conditioner like Garnier every few days and cut any matted ends.It will also frizz but I like the look it gives, but if you don’t just cut some of the frizz out. I would suggest to leave the hair in no more than a month but that’s personal preference.Overall for the price I think this is a good buy. One order (8 packs) was enough for me and I have a big head lol. If you want a fuller look or just to be on the safe side I would order 2. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Used 7 packs *by G***A on June 18, 2025* I've been making wigs for a while, so here are my pros and cons. PROS: The hair is soft, bouncy and beautiful, and the color is perfect for me as I am 75 y/o and transitioning to grey. So the color is perfection. CONS: The main problem is that it is synthetic hair so it won't last very long. I crocheted a wig to a stretchy cap. While crocheting, it was a bit tedious bc you have to separate the hair strands by curl pattern. Also the locks didn't stay locked very well and the hair turns straight when to pull it to lock it. Overall, I would give it a 3-4 stars. The wig looks good for now, but it is not for everyday wear. I will only wear it on certain occasions bc I can tell it will not last very long.
