**Q: What generation is it gen2 or gen3?**
A: There gen 3 
They have the 1 2 3 power setting and the nut breaker setting 
It takes me like 2-3 weeks for the battery to die(I'm a mechanic )
You won't be dissatisfied I'd recommend getting a 3/8 adapter and a bit holder adapter with your purchase

**Q: Would it work for occasional lug nuts removal?**
A: this item does not have that kind of power, it would stall trying to remove lug nuts
