Review: Kilner delivers another quality product. - Received my fermentation set from Kilner, I was happy how the jar was packaged within its box and it was delivered intact. The size is perfect for my needs ( although other sizes are available). The product looks great and all the pieces are of good quality. I have used it several times to make several batches of kimchi and both its functionality and ease of cleaning after are superb. I also thought the instructions were super helpful. Really recommend !!!!! Next I’m going to try the recipes in the booklet attached, can’t wait.
Review: A cracked valve was quickly replaced by customer support. - This jar arrived with a cracked airlock valve, which the support line (customerservice@rayware.co.uk) was quick to replace for me. I have used the Kilner Sauerkraut fermentation system to do my first ferment, and no mold or unwanted organisms are growing - so the valve has done a good job. The sauerkraut tatses great too! I'm happy to recommend this jar to others for similar fermentations.

A: Sorry I don’t know I bought it as a gift. But the person I got it for bought spares extra bits direct from Kilner. Hope this helps

A: Hi and no it is a fermentation jar only, you transfer the contents to a prepared jar once it is food stuff ready to eat

A: I do not know. I only have 3 litre one.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great value

I wanted to make kimchi and sauerkraut and not spend to much money. This has done the job well. The water filter at the top burps the gas away pretty well although I have found the rubber lid does lift a bit at the early stages of fermentation. The weights are pretty good although could be heavier and I did purchase the wooden implement to help press everything done which whilst well made was not really necessary.
