I am not sure if I like the Kindle copy of this book. Sadly you cannot do a search by page numbers. The index portion of the book is also difficult to get to. This book is definitely meant to be read cover to cover. It does not serve as a quick reference on the kindle version. If you are using this book for a class, get the paperbook. When others reference material from the book, you will be completely lost.

Well written, a nice introduction into knowledge management, gives one a good grounding of various areas of KM like CoP, knowledge capture (tacit and explicit), data mining methods, organisational culture etc. Great KM resources section on the last chapter too.
