It is replica of Mars, although much smaller and glows a nice red colour. It has 4 little pin prick of lights where the Mars Rover has landed. It is not as bright as other Uncle Milton products, but this creates a soft light perfect for bedtime. It turns itself off after half an hour, which is great as it is battery operated, so the batteries last a long time. If the light is still needed after the allotted time, then it can be switched back on using the remote.
