All these locks are sold with same keys so I could come to yours and unlock with my key :( **Q: i want this for my hitch - usual sort of place for the ball to fit into. however i also have an alko stabiliser on and ? will it fit???** A: Fine as a hitch lock, but if you are planning on using it on a Caravan I would suggest getting a better quality hitch lock. I use one of these on my small trailer more as a deterrent. The metal bar could be cut through quite easily with an angle grinder as it is exposed. I bought it more as a deterrent than an actual devise that'll stop my low value trailer being stolen. However if I am being picky then there are two issues that I should bring to your attention: 1) it can be difficult to get it seated fully in the tow hitch of the trailer. It takes a bit of brute force, but once it's in it seems secure. 2) the lock is a ratchet type and I am a little unconvinced that it'll stand up to any force. I suspect a crow bar would have it open quite quickly.
