I've hade mine for a couple of months and, so far, I'm only on the second cartridge. **Q: is the ink in the cartridge identical to that of the originalpilot v5? Im thinking of just refilling the original with this ink.** A: You can't re-fill the original throwaway versions. Being honest I prefer to write with the older style ones and they have a lot more ink capacity than the cartridge versions. If you like the original throwaway version I would buy them **Q: Pen is good, when it came to changing the refills - they clip in well but the ink does not flow to the nib of the pen. What am i doing wrong?** A: Gently squeeze the refill a couple of times - then scribble on a piece of paper.
