**Q: Hello--is the pectin where the actual pectin does NOT have to be cooked, or is it just that the jam doens't have to be cooked?**
A: Neither the fruit nor the pectin need to be cooked.  The jam tastes SO much better - like fresh fruit, w/ less or no sugar!I let it set up for 24 hours and then froze them.  Turned out perfectly every time.

**Q: what's flex batch?**
A: It means you can make a batch just about any size.  You don't have to use the entire bottle at once.  I've made some jam with as little as 2 cups of fruit or as much as 4 cups and it worked well.  Just have to figure out how much of the ingredients for the amount of fruit you have.

**Q: What is the expiry date on this product.?**
A: You'll find the expiration date clearly printed on the label to the left of main Ball logo label under where is states "Makes 15 half pints". Mine shows Best by Oct2015
