E.g 12-54?** A: As standard many acoustic guitars are sold with 12-54 strings. This set should be pretty close to what was on the guitar originally and D'Addario are one of the worlds most popular string manufacturer.Often, people choose lighter strings (smaller numbers) to sacrifice a little sound for playing comfort, or heavier strings (eg 13-56) for tuning the guitar down or a bolder sound.
