Review: No frills fitting and looks good too - So far so good. I needed only the flap not the brush as well to replace a broken one outside. As a standard UK size, it fitted perfectly into the existing screwholes (no need to drill new ones) and fitting it took less than five minutes. I have kept the brush in case I decide to replace the interal part as well as some point but it works just as well with the existing one.
Review: Good item with poor screws - Actual item is good but the screws sent with it are, unfortunately, useless and soft. Use proper screws to fit the cover or you’re screwed.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is it easy to use it to replace only the outside of the 'letterbox system' leaving the inside part as is? My exterior is missing the plastic 'pins'.**
A: Yes very easy. You just screw off the front flap and this cover has 3 screws each side that screws into the door. The pins snapped in windy weather on my door so I only needed the front cover. The internal piece stays from original letter box

**Q: hello i am i able to screw this on my shed door to act as a letter box with no additional purchases thank you in advance**
A: Yes, the letterplate screws from under the flap so you should be able to fit it to your shed door.Derrick (Jodexhomestore)

**Q: Hi Guys, do you do the equivalent in a chrome finish?**
A: You'd have to contact the manufacturers

**Q: How many holes does it have we are looking for one with four holes, to fit our door**
A: It has 2screws

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good item with poor screws

Actual item is good but the screws sent with it are, unfortunately, useless and soft. Use proper screws to fit the cover or you’re screwed.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great letterbox but my mistake on it
*by W***S on 27 May 2024*

I received this letterbox and cannot fault anything about it whatsoever. Its a great letterbox and looks good BUT I made a mistake when I bought it to replace our one that had broken , or rather BEEN broken by a delivery driver trying to ram a parcel through and broke the flap off. My mistake was not ordering a letterbox for a UPVC front door so I got the two halves with the sleeve through the middle , as I thought I could simply put this one on the front and it was fixed. Luckily I knew someone who had mentioned they needed a new letterbox so I sold it to them and they're more than happy with it. Had I been able to use this letterbox on a UPVC door it would've looked so good and done what was required , but sadly the sleeve on the inside half of our letterbox stopped this one being flush against the door , so not the fault of the seller , totally my not considering what I actually needed , but if you have a normal wooden front door this letterbox would be the perfect replacement if yours is damaged/broken.
