I now longer have to spend hours and hours burning by hand.. I got a nice deep brown burn as well.. it amazing! I was unsure if my crafting heat gun would have enough power but it did and it didn’t take as long as I was expecting it to neither. Ann was a full-time Designer creating and selling chalk paste projects. She wanted to learn how to wood burn and also wanted to incorporate her large collection of stencils. Ann quickly discovered that a paste/gel substance was needed in order to capture the details of the designs. She developed Torch Paste in her kitchen/shop and refined it with the assistance of lab testing. From Ann's creative hands to yours. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B09W66LYDN | | Best Sellers Rank | 512,582 in Home & Kitchen ( See Top 100 in Home & Kitchen ) 28 in Art Pastes | | Brand | Torch Paste | | Colour | Clear | | Compatible Material | Wood | | Container Type | glass jar | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 out of 5 stars 3,972 Reviews | | Full Cure Time | 3 Minutes | | Item Form | Paste | | Item Package Quantity | 1 | | Item Type Name | wood burning paste | | Item Volume | 3 Fluid Ounces | | Item Weight | 3 Ounces | | Item form | Paste | | Manufacturer | Torch Paste | | Manufacturer Part Number | TP-3-JAR-O | | Material | Vinyl , Wood | | Model Number | TP-3-JAR-O | | Number of Pieces | 1 | | Other Special Features of the Product | Patent Pending, Unique Formula for Wood Burning | | Special feature | Patent Pending, Unique Formula for Wood Burning | | Specific Uses For Product | Craft, art, handicraft, wall art, woodworking | | Specific uses for product | Craft, art, handicraft, wall art, woodworking | | UPC | 860006941505 | | Unit Count | 85.05 gram | | Viscosity Level | Medium to High | | Water Resistance Level | Not Water Resistant | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Torch Paste - **Item form:** Paste - **Material:** Vinyl, Wood - **Special feature:** Patent Pending, Unique Formula for Wood Burning - **Specific uses for product:** Craft, art, handicraft, wall art, woodworking ## Images ![Torch Paste - The Original Wood Burning Paste Since 2020 | Lab Tested & ASTM D-4236 Certified | Non Toxic | Use on Wood, Card Stock, Canvas, Denim & More | Easy Application, 3 OZ - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71oDBJuFpkL.jpg) ![Torch Paste - The Original Wood Burning Paste Since 2020 | Lab Tested & ASTM D-4236 Certified | Non Toxic | Use on Wood, Card Stock, Canvas, Denim & More | Easy Application, 3 OZ - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81uXNeUbloL.jpg) ![Torch Paste - The Original Wood Burning Paste Since 2020 | Lab Tested & ASTM D-4236 Certified | Non Toxic | Use on Wood, Card Stock, Canvas, Denim & More | Easy Application, 3 OZ - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/91d1S1uZ1sL.jpg) ![Torch Paste - The Original Wood Burning Paste Since 2020 | Lab Tested & ASTM D-4236 Certified | Non Toxic | Use on Wood, Card Stock, Canvas, Denim & More | Easy Application, 3 OZ - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81frzsqa52L.jpg) ![Torch Paste - The Original Wood Burning Paste Since 2020 | Lab Tested & ASTM D-4236 Certified | Non Toxic | Use on Wood, Card Stock, Canvas, Denim & More | Easy Application, 3 OZ - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81Gdn+lpOPL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Could i use my burning pen rather than a heat gun?** A: I don’t have a burning pen , so can’t comment . However , I brought a craft heat gun and it didn’t work as not hot enough. Had to go out get another hear gun that achieved a much higher temp. Worked great after that **Q: Is it food safe?** A: When Torch Paste is used on a surface that will be in contact with food items, it is recommended that the surface be sealed with a food grade sealer after applying/burning Torch Paste. Some sealers may require periodic re-application, use and reapply as directed. **Q: Can you reuse the paste?** A: A very small layer is needed for great wood burning success. Scrape off the excess paste from the stencil and return excess to jar. **Q: Can you use this with a small Brush to paint your own designs** A: I have only used it with a stencil. You would need to be very careful if you were painting freehand as if even one bristle of the brush splayed out it would show up as a burn. I guess it depends what design you have in mind as even the tiniest bit of paste burns. It is good that it is slightly coloured so you can see the design if you are using a light coloured wood. It is quite expensive for a small pot. With a stencil you can scrape if very thin and put any residue back in the pot which you probably wouldn’t be able to do if you were painting freehand ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Was brilliant *by M***S on 7 June 2024* I was very cautious about buying this product as it was quite expensive and not a very big pot, however I bit the bullet and ordered it..
