## Questions & Answers

**Q: is it a rip saw？**
A: It has cross cut ground teeth, but it works well as a rip saw. To see it in use have a look at Paul Sellers you tube film call, handsaw comparisons with Paul Sellers. It a good saw for the money.

**Q: How many tpi ?**
A: Mine is labelled 10 PPI (points per inch) and does measure 10 PPI and 9 TPI (teeth per inch).

**Q: I see they offer a 24" version as well as this 22" version - how/why choose one over the other?**
A: The diference between the two versions is the number of teeth per inch (tpi). The 22'' version has 10 tpi and the 24'' (and the 26'' as well) has 7 tpi and therefore it cuts faster but leaves a coarser surface. I have them both, for cross cutting I use the 22'' only and I have filed the larger saw as a rip-cut.

**Q: Bought this and the handle is wobbling sideways because the recess is wider than the sawplate thickness, tapping on rivets didnt help**
A: I bought this saw and would certainly not have accepted the fault that you have. This is a high end product that should give you excellent results and with the fault you describe accuracy would be very difficult. I would return for a replacement if I were you.
