The check for nomads and nimh is only a rough guide to capacity though. If you study the list of battery types this unit can check (left of screen) "Li-Ion" is included which would suggest that you could check the capacity of the battery you describe. It's powered by the battery you're testing, and turns on within a second of connecting it to give you a pack voltage and charge percentage. You can press a button to show the maximum cell difference, and to cycle through the individual cell voltages.
