My old mop was totally destroyed but this one has a replacement head and the head can go in the washing machine to be sterilised between uses. The bucket is amazing. I honestly thought the spinny system was a bit of a gimic but it actually works!! I had to mop up a load of spilt water yesterday and it was super easy because of the spin dry system. This results in the mop not spinning properly and all the water being removed. So you have to pull the pedal up and repeat. It sounds as if the cogs are slipping. I only use this mop approximately once a week, so it hasn't really had a hard life. In desertcart's defence, I went to the online chat and within 20 minutes a replacement had been arranged for next day delivery. I cannot complain about their response and there was absolutely no quibble.
