Dreamcatcher Electric Blanket Double Premium Polar Fleece, Double Bed, Electric Heated Blanket, Soft Fitted Underblanket with Dual LED Controllers, 8 Comfort settings, Timer Function

All the design faults of my previous electric underblanket (double) have been resolved by this item. Firstly, no daft tapes to fix it to the mattress, owing to the deep elasticated skirt which means that the blanket covers and heats the whole bed without shifting. It is easy and quick to fit and remove. Secondly, the power input plugs are located near the top of each side of the blanket so will be under your pillows: no more trying to avoid a great lump of plastic halfway down the bed! Thirdly, independent controls on each side for both foot and body areas are an absolute boon as we can each enjoy our different preferred heat levels. Finally, the fact that you can set your heating levels to switch off after a certain length of time means no need to stay awake to switch it off, or falling asleep in the warmth and waking up like a boiled lobster. So far we have only needed to use the gentle level 2 heat and it has been very comfortable. My husband has a health condition which means he suffers badly from feeling cold whatever the ambient temperature, so we are both delighted with the quality and effectiveness of this blanket which has a 3 year guarantee. Highly recommended.

Easy to fit and excellent quality. Simple to use controls. Great to be able to control each half and top and bottom completely independently. Heats up quickly and the timer control is a bonus.

This is the first electric blanket I've bought so I have nothing to compare with.I chose this one because of the 4 panels for individual heating. For me I only really get cold on my feet, for my girlfriend she'll want both on. I was also keen since it said it was quick because I'll likely turn my side off as soon as I get into bed because I will quickly warm up.As previously mentioned the product comes with a safety tag recommending to check the size - the size is not obvious on the packaging. However the got for my double bed is perfect.Also nervous about the position of the plugs - they're on the top corners - likely not going to impact much but I worry I'll feel them with my head as I get slowly pushed to the edge of the bed through the night... Also it means the plugs jut out in a weird way. Would be better if they slotted down the side of the bed.Regarding the beating- I turned it on - 10 minutes later no obvious warmth. 30 minutes later I could tell it was on an hour later it was nicely toasty on the top setting. Not as hot as ones at families homes though which I like as I do warm up really quickly.Overall I'm happy with the product but some design faults could be improved.

All together it's a great piece to have. When the weather gets chilly in the middle of the night, it's of great comfort and help.

Very happy with this electric blanket. Now been using it for two weeks and have now got the settings just right for a good night's sleep. Control unit is well thought out and I like the LED lights showing the four heat settings. All so easy to set up and the timer is a good feature to set the length of time you want the blanket on - mine is set for 9 hours which is essentially all night. For me I have the heat sett to 1 for the feet and 2 for the upper body. My wife has her side switched off as she likes a cool bed, so this blanket has solved our problem as I'm a cold mortal so both now get a good night's sleep. Delivery was exceptionally quick arriving within 48 hours of ordering, and this was the week before Christmas.

This product would be absolutely brilliant IF it had been the specifications that it was sold to me as. It is not 8 heat settings it is only 4. While this is fine I did pay for an 8 setting one and took a long time to choose this particular one because it had 8 settings. It was bought as an early Christmas present for my parents as my dad has cancer and has lost a significant amount of weight and is feeling the cold considerably especially with his treatment. Having the dual controls and the half and half blanket my mum can have hers off while my dad still has his side on to keep him warm and comfortable. Over all this is a good heated blanket, it fits like a sheet is washable and does everything you want except have 8 settings. 4 will have to do though.

Lovely product delivered as promised. My wife loves under blankets and uses this all of the time. She loves this one. Its nice thick fleece and easy controls have pleased her very much. It gives a nice even warmth and the different settings work very well.
